Emil Kjellbom
Founder, owner & business manager.
Certified concert guitarist, subject manager, guitar teacher.
Emil is a subject expert in classical guitar playing and has a recognized solid knowledge in musical design, methodology & pedagogy. Emil founded the Stockholm Guitar Academy, Östermalm 2007.

Emil is the operations manager at MusicOne Scandinavia and Emil is also chairman and founder of the non-profit association: The Association of Classical Guitar
Emil has previously worked at Piteå Academy of Music and was also solely responsible for the guitar classes at the Nordic Music High School for 18 years.
Emil is an active professional classical concert guitarist and entrepreneur but is also an esteemed lecturer. Emil also runs several different successful companies, including Baghanger Sweden , which specializes in providing hotels, shops and individuals with innovative products.

Edvard Hamngren
Guitar educator and freelance jazz musician. Edvard teaches children and adults in several different styles of music.
Teach:
Rock / pop, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Gypsy Jazz, swing, Funk, Ackord, improvisation.

Jose Lucas
Guitar educator and and music producer. José is also a member of the guitar duo "Stockholm GuitarDuo" which consists of Emil Kjellbom and José Lucas. Jose is also a member of the Association of Classical Guitar (FKG)
Teaches: Classical guitar, utility guitar, accompaniment guitar, and popular music. Music theory. José is also a songwriter and responsible for Stockholm Guitar Academy's studio recording and CD production (exclusively for our members and students)

What is coaching?
Coaching is a conversation method that is based on the coach's powerful questions that you yourself have the answers to. With the help of my coaching questions, you will be able to formulate and find your personal keys to your personal method for a successful, lasting motivation and confidence in your musicality.
Why a coach?
As a musician and music student, you face and will face many challenging situations as you need to perform at your best there and then. It is important to be as well-equipped as possible not only technically and musically but also mentally.
It can sometimes be a tough challenge to keep your motivation alive without doubting the musical ability you possess.
As a coach, I help you find your successful motivation, direction and balance in your musical career.

With my personal experience of higher music studies and as a musician, it gives me insight into what it takes for me as a personal coach to help you on the way to your goal.

In parallel with your music studies at SGA, I help you find your successful structure and balance in order to be able to make the best use of the exclusive, professional teaching that SGA offers you as a student.
Coaching suits everyone regardless of age and goal. You choose whether you want to be coached in your role as a musician or personal and private goals.
I challenge you to reflect, set goals, sub-goals and to implement these.
